Tend Health and Better Health Limited has partnered up in the South Island, to provide equitable, smart & timely healthcare across the motu.

The partnership between Tend and Better Health Limited will encompass 14 medical centres with more than 90,000 patients across Christchurch, North Canterbury and the lower South Island - making the group a leading healthcare provider in New Zealand. Tend also operates three medical centres across Auckland including Kingsland, central city and Pakuranga.

As part of this integration, Tend will introduce its innovative model of care, technology and consumer facing brand to build an operational model to better serve the needs of patients and clinicians to enhance the best of primary healthcare.

We are looking for a practice manager for Linwood Medical Centre, that is excited by our model of care, to lead integration at Linwood! 

Our ideal person for this role will have:

• Experience managing primary or secondary care services, ideally in general practice
• Service management & managing a multidisciplinary team 
• Strong facilitation & negotiation/persuasion skills
• Strong working knowledge of Practice Management Systems, preferably Indici and ability to pick up technology systems with ease

This role will be responsible for:

• Clinic operations
• Leadership of the teams 
• Strategy & delivery 
• Financial performance, people & risk management 

The successful candidate will have support from our People, Finance, Operations, Customer Experience and Leadership team, to implement change & integration at Linwood.
