Join our small but mighty People Team at Tend Health as a People Experience & Business Support Lead and play a pivotal role in shaping our workplace. We're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual who is ready to dive into a fast-paced environment, support our HR initiatives, and ensure our HQ office runs smoothly.
Tend is NZ’s leading digital-first healthcare provider with over 130,000 enrolled patients, 25 medical clinics across the country, and nearly 500 employees. This role is based in our Auckland HQ (Parnell) and partners closely with operational leaders throughout the country. Occasional travel to the AKL clinics and regular attendance in the office is required.

Your day-to-day activities will include:
- People Experience & Development - Deliver a seamless employee experience across the full people lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, engagement, performance, remuneration, L&D, and offboarding) with accurate data, effective communication, and high-quality documentation.
- Project & Process Improvement - Support and coordinate cross-functional projects, streamline workflows, and enhance people systems and processes through automation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Business & Executive Support - Provide proactive administrative and executive assistance, including scheduling, meeting preparation, reporting, travel coordination, and creation of professional papers and presentations.
- Workplace & Facilities Management - Oversee the day-to-day running of office facilities, vendor relationships, and logistics to ensure safe, efficient, and welcoming work environments.
- Health, Safety, Wellbeing & Equity - Promote a strong safety culture, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and embed Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles, cultural safety, and equity in all people and workplace practices.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- A tertiary qualification in an HR, business administration or related field is desirable and/or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years experience in HR or related work experience
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
