We’re now looking for an experienced Practice Manager who enjoys leading people, improving systems, and keeping a busy general practice running smoothly. This is a key leadership role within the clinic, offering autonomy, support, and the opportunity to genuinely shape how care is delivered.

About the role

As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership of the clinic. You will work closely with clinicians, the clinic team, and our wider Tend support network to ensure the clinic operates efficiently, safely, and in line with Tend’s values.

This role is ideal for an established clinic coordinator or practice manager who enjoys balancing people leadership with operational excellence and who thrives in a forward-thinking, collaborative environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Providing leadership and line management of our front of house and admin team members at the clinic

• Leading daily clinic operations to ensure smooth, efficient patient flow

• Supporting and coordinating both clinical and non-clinical team members

• Creating a positive, supportive workplace culture where people can do their best work

• Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, and ways of working

• Partnering with regional and central teams to deliver consistent, high-quality care

• Ensuring operational standards, compliance, and best practice are maintained

About you

You’ll bring experience, confidence, and a calm, organised approach to leadership. You’re someone who enjoys problem-solving, building strong relationships, and helping teams perform at their best.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience as a practice manager or in healthcare operations in a similar role

• Previous experience as a practice manager in a law firm, dental practice or similar business should also apply

• Strong people leadership and communication skills

• The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Confidence using practice management systems and digital tools

• A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

• General practice experience is preferred, but most important is your ability to lead with empathy, clarity, and professionalism.
